Computer Science Education Week is celebrated each year in December for the week which includes the 9th December. This is to honour the famous computer scientist, Grace Hopper, who was born on 9th December 1906.
This week in our assemblies we learnt a little more about Grace Hopper, why she was famous and learnt some new terminology.
Next week our teachers are planning 'an hour of code' where we will have different oppurtunities to try coding first hand, create some algorithmns and debugging them if they are incorrect!
