We follow a tiered approach:
- Universal Strategies – Whole-school initiatives fostering readiness, respect, and safety.
- Targeted Support – Small-group or individual interventions for students who need additional help.
- Specialist Interventions – Personalised behaviour support for students with significant needs, often involving external professionals.
Weekly: Pastoral & SLT review patterns/trends.
Termly: Behaviour data informs staff training & intervention strategies.
Universal (Whole School)
- Clear expectations and visual supports.
- Whole-school positive reinforcement.
- Social-emotional learning integrated into the curriculum.
Targeted (Additional Support)
- Small group interventions (Thrive Approach, social skills training).
- Individualised behaviour plans.
- Structured daily check-ins.
Specialist (Intensive Support)
- Positive Intervention Plans (PIPs) – Personalised strategies for behaviour regulation.
- One-to-one pastoral support.
- Collaboration with external agencies (e.g., CAMHS, Educational Psychologists).
