Penguin
This term Penguin have been looking at explorers. we have read the books Naughty Bus, Whatever Next and listened to the song, We All Go Travelling By. We have enjoyed learning number through a variety of number songs and have continued to enjoy our open theatre sessions. We have been looking at the emergency services as part of our careers sessions.
Summer 1 2024
Our topic for summer 1 was splash. We have enjoyed exploring water play both inside and outside. We looked at the books bathroom boogie, a hole in the bottom of the sea and the biggest muddy puddle in the world. We painted fish, played a magnet fishing game and made muddy puddles in brown paint and let peppa pig jump in them. We have been singing number songs as part of our maths sessions and have enjoyed counting to 5 with monkeys and to 10 with green bottles. We made our own green bottles and filled them with a variety of green objects we then enjoyed singing the song and knocking the bottles off the wall.
