Welcome to Tiger Class

In Tiger class we focus on developing confident and happy learners who are equipped with independence and skills needed to make the most of their learning to each individual need. We learn best through our play-based learning tasks and encourage learners to develop their social interaction skills with their peers in class.

This year our topics include Looking after Myself,  Festivals and Celebrations, In the Home, Toys from the Past and Jungle Animals. We regularly go on class school trips to inspire the learning in our cross curricular topics. As a team we are always looking to provide the very best learning experiences for our learners through fun, laughter and nurture. We look forward to welcoming learners to Tiger class.

Summer 1 2024

In art we were experimenting with clay, making pinch pots and 3D patterns on tiles. The pupils experimented with the 'score and slip' technique to add pieces together and let their creativity throw freely to create some really unique pieces of artwork. 

In science we investigated electric circuits and electric flow. The pupils experimented with building their own circuits and making the bulb light, the motor spin or controlling the circuit with a switch.
